A Montalcino Wine Tour Like No Other
Tenuta Luce's 249 hectares unfold to the southwest of Montalcino, among extensive woodlands, olive groves and 88 hectares of vineyards; an intact environment, sparsely populated and rich in biodiversity. The brilliant light accentuated by the particular exposure of the vineyards, the fresh and breezy air, and the variety of soils and altitudes make Tenuta Luce an ideal location, where the balance of all these elements is cultivated with utmost care. A care that continues through the work in the cellar, where each step is carried out with unwavering dedication to enhancing the precious harmony achieved in the vineyards. The wines of Tenuta Luce are born from this philosophy, a project that began in the early 90s, with the meeting of two great men of wine, Vittorio Frescobaldi and Roberto Mondavi, who chose Montalcino and combined their knowledge to pursue the maximum expression of this highly vocated terroir, in a significantly distinctive way. Since 2004, with the end of the partnership with the Mondavi family, Lamberto Frescobaldi has been at the helm of the company.
